Onward thrives on developing low cost value adding applications for a regular mobile user as well as for the corporate customers. Strength of our solutions lies in fact that every mobile user is our target customer – anywhere in the world.

With a massive mobile market in India, Onward has embarked upon an ambitious retail expansion plan across all the major cities and towns of India. Our target is to have a national footprint in over 150,000 retail outlets by March 2011.

Besides Indian market, Onward products are marketed through strategic partners in countries such as Australia, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Qatar, UAE, UK and US.

Arun Menon:
Arun brings in immense understanding and around a decade of experience in varied technologies and markets. He has been instrumental in delivering many first to market products in the mobile and internet space.  A graduate from IIT Bombay one of his key strengths is to deliver path breaking products. Arun is one of the founders Onward Mobility and as the CEO of the company is responsible for executing the vision and strategy of Onward.

Ajay Menon:
Ajay brings in over 14 years of enriched sales and business experience in which he successfully run three diverse businesses. He started of his career in finance domain and went on to become the CEO of BITS, a public limited company and made a remarkable turnaround of the company. Ajay's core strengths lie in managing relationships, negotiating deals and winning customers. Ajay is one of the founders of Onward Mobility and is responsible for executing the vision and strategy of Onward.

 

Vani Kola :IUVP, Managing Director, India
Vani is a renowned entrepreneur and a visionary known for identifying emerging markets. For the past decade, she has carved a niche in building successful software companies.

Vani has partnered with Vinod Dham to co-found IndoUS Venture Partners (IUVP), an early-stage venture capital firm, focused on enabling world-class entrepreneurship in India Vani was the founder and CEO of Certus Software, a leader in the Financial Compliance market.

Prior to establishing Certus, Vani was the founder and CEO of RightWorks, a successful e-procurement company. Vani has also held management and engineering positions at Consilium and Control Data Corporation. Vani's commitment to excellence and integrity directs her approach to building companies, developing products and empowering people. Vani is profiled in numerous books and has been identified as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley. She is also actively involved in various organizations focused on fostering entrepreneurship and women leadership. Vani holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in electrical engineering.

Karthee Madasamy :Qualcomm Venture, Managing Director, Asia, India
Karthee is Managing Director, India and Israel, and is based in Bangalore, India. Karthee has over 16 years of experience in the wireless and multimedia industries and has worked in product development and management roles at various semiconductor startups
Prior to his current role, he worked as a management consulting intern at Boston Consulting Group and as an associate at the venture capital firm, JK&B Capital. Karthee currently manages and actively serves as a board observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Apalya, MapMyIndia, Kirusa, Tessolve and Waze.
Karthee holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Rajiv Dadlani:
A young and dynamic promoter, with over 16 years of experience, Rajiv alongwith a team of professionals from the Investment Banking and Corporate Finance industry formed over a decade ago and has overseen its operations for the last 12 years to make it one of the premiere Boutique Investment Banks of India.
Under his leadership has grown to be a full service Investment Bank. His responsibilities span from origination of transactions to marketing and negotiation. He has headed the syndication team for large infrastructure projects in telecom, ports, roads, pipelines etc. He is a dynamic Leader, having conducted business internationally, with the U.S.A, U.K., Europe, Singapore & U.A.E.

Rajiv has been personally involved in more than 50 transaction closures in the past decade, some of them being cross border in nature. He has led his team to successfully advise on Private Equity and Debt Placements, Venture Capital Deals, I.P.O.’s, Working Capital, Term Loans, Project Finance, Structured Finance and M & A transactions. as well as Angel Investments. He is an active Investor and is part of the screening committee of the Mumbai Angels, a leading and professional angel investment group.He has strong relationships with Government agencies and Financial Institutions.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the ICFAI, Hyderabad and has a B.COM degree with First Class from the University of Mumbai. In addition to the above, he has completed various diploma programmes in Technical Analysis., Export and Import Management (Indo American Society) and Advanced Computer Programming (Network Computer Institute).

Zubin Jimmy Dubash
Zubin Jimmy Dubash has joined Onward Mobility in the role of Chief Strategy Officer. Zubin was previously working as Vice President & National Head of New Products Innovations at Tata Docomo, Tata Photon, Tata Indicom & Virgin brands. He was responsible for strategy and innovation for all the brands of Tata Teleservices.

A JBIMS alumni, Zubin has an industry working experience of 17 years with companies such as - Network Institute - a Microsoft Solution Provider, Vodafone (India), British Gas Broadband & Tata Teleservices Ltd. He has spent the last 13 years in the rapidly-growing telecom & broadband sectors in India, managing various functions including Roaming, Business Development, Product Management and Mobile VAS. Since 2000, he has been closely associated with Mobile VAS in India, and has been a part of pioneering breakthroughs with operators like Hutch (Now Vodafone) & Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL). He is also an active speaker at various VAS forums in India and internationally.

 

Parthasarathy Nemana:
Parth is an IIT Bombay grad with over 10 years of experience in software technologies with big software houses like Tata InfoTech, HCL. Parth has been a key player in the development of various products at Onward. He also plays an instrumental role in creating product strategies and product roadmaps at Onward.

Partha Pratim Chaudhuri:
Partha, MBA(Marketing) from IISWBM(Calcutta University), has 17+ years of experience in sales and distribution having worked for companies like Nakshatra, Colgate Palmolive, PepsiCo India Mktg Co, Godrej Foods, ICI India, Berger Paints, and Century Plyboards. Partha currently heads pan India retail sales at Onward. Before joining Onward he was heading the pan India Sales & Distribution of Nakshatra.
